A survey for virus-based products in plant protection

The Flanders Research Institute for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (ILVO), in the frame of the “techno-economic system analysis and business modelling” work package of the Viroplant project, launched a survey to investigate the potential market of the virus-based products for plant protection. The survey was sent to about 160 farmers that grow tomato, cucumber and/or egg plants. An informative movie was included, which provided information on the crazy roots disease and showed how bacteriophages can help to control this disease.
