04 Mag In the Covid-19 era, Viroplant contributes to e-learning programs of Italian students
In this lock down period due to Covid-19 pandemic, schools are closed and various e-learning opportunities are offered to students. Because of the uncertainties of this period, people’s fear and confusion on viruses are increasing as well as their need for reliable scientific information. On Thursday May 7th at 10.00 am, Massimo Turina will share his and the Viroplant consortium’s knowledge on viruses during the webinar “Good or bad viruses? Their ecological role”. He will show that our planet is inhabited by an enormous number of viruses, most of which have important roles in the functioning of ecosystems.
The webinar is part of a free webinar series on ”science and research” promoted by INDIRE (National Institute for Documentation Innovation Research Education) and intended for students, teachers and families. Those who are interested can follow the webinar in Italian at http://www.indire.it/webinar-per-gli-studenti-a-cura-degli-enti-pubblici-di-ricerca/.
